Job summary

Eland Engineering, a GAI Consultants company, seeks two full-time ITS Technicians to install, service, and support ITS/Traffic products on-site and in-house.

The role includes fiber optic installation, field devices such as DMS, CCTV, MVDS, RSU, Traffic Signal Controllers, and power systems, with duties in wiring, testing, and documentation. Salary ranges from $40,000 to $85,000 DOE, located in Seminole County, FL. Background check required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or related field required.
• 2-10 years of experience in fiber optic installation and splicing.
• 2-10 years maintaining ITS field devices (DMS, CCTV, MVDS, RSU, Traffic Signal Controllers, power systems).
• 2-10 years electronics repair and maintenance.
• 2-10 years basic computer and networking skills.

Responsibilities

• Installs equipment including cameras, detectors, and controller cabinets.
• Installs electrical, data, and fiber optic cables.
• Installs pull boxes, conduits, poles, and foundations.
• Connects conductors to equipment and power services.
• Tests devices to ensure proper operation.
• Prepares logs documenting field conditions and installation activities.
