Qualifications

• Proven competency in the core academic subject area assigned.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional vision and learning media assessments.
• Assist in developing IEP/IFSP goals and modifications.
• Provide direct instruction in compensatory skills and braille.

Skills

Knowledge of core academic subject assigned

Ability to instruct students and manage behavior

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Education

Bachelor's degree from accredited university

Valid Texas teaching certificate
