Job summary

DeKalb County Schools is seeking an Aide/Paraprofessional for Instructional and Special Education. The role supports classroom teachers during instruction and with students needing additional assistance, including test preparation and supervising students in the library and computer lab.

Responsibilities include assisting with general duties, following policies on confidentiality, and performing related tasks as assigned by the Principal or Special Education Coordinator.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Highly Qualified requirements per policy.

• Salary and work year to be according to the current approved/applicable salary schedule.

EVALUATION:

• Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Support Personnel.
