DeKalb County Schools is seeking an Aide/Paraprofessional for Instructional and Special Education. The role supports classroom teachers during instruction and with students needing additional assistance, including test preparation and supervising students in the library and computer lab.

Responsibilities include assisting with general duties, following policies on confidentiality, and performing related tasks as assigned by the Principal or Special Education Coordinator.

Formación

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Highly Qualified requirements per policy.

Responsabilidades

• Teach students while the teacher works with special groups.
• Assist the teacher in general duties (e.g., duplicating, giving make-up tests).
• Provide assistance in standardized test preparation.
• Accompany students to the library and computer lab.
• Must lift, bend, squat as assignment may require.
• Perform other duties as assigned by principals or Supervisor of Special Education.
• Maintain the confidentiality of student records.
