Limestone County Board of Education is seeking an ITINERANT SPECIAL EDUCATION INSTRUCTIONAL ASSISTANT to support certified teachers in delivering individualized instruction to students with disabilities. The role involves assisting with behavioral interventions, adapting materials, and supervising students during activities and transitions.
Under the supervision of the Principal/Director of Special Education, you will help implement educational plans, manage classroom routines, and assist with

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to finger dexterity, to handle, or feel objects, equipment, or controls. The employee frequently is required to talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, bend, stoop, squat, and crouch and kneel. The employee must occasionally lift, push, pull carry and/or move to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include near vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
