Limestone County Board of Education is seeking an ITINERANT SPECIAL EDUCATION INSTRUCTIONAL ASSISTANT to support certified teachers in delivering individualized instruction to students with disabilities across classrooms and settings.
Under supervision, you will reinforce learning, manage student behavior, assist with assessments and therapy activities, prepare materials, accompany students to and from classes, and help with lunch, recess, and other routines as needed.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to finger dexterity, to handle, or feel objects, equipment, or controls. The employee frequently is required to talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, bend, stoop, squat, and crouch and kneel. The employee must occasionally lift, push, pull carry and/or move to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include near vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
