Limestone County Board of Education seeks an ITINERANT SPECIAL EDUCATION INSTRUCTIONAL ASSISTANT to support a certified teacher in delivering individualized instruction and implementing behavioral plans for students with disabilities.
You will work under supervision, assist with small groups, prepare instructional materials, and help with daily classroom tasks, transportation, and routine care as needed. This role is on-site and requires compassionate, patient engagement with students and staff.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to finger dexterity, to handle, or feel objects, equipment, or controls. The employee frequently is required to talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, bend, stoop, squat, and crouch and kneel. The employee must occasionally lift, push, pull carry and/or move to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include near vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
