Job summary

Soltant is seeking an Occupational Therapist to support multiple schools near Morris, IL for the second semester on a full-time contract basis. The OT will travel between sites, delivering services to students from kindergarten through transitional ASD programs and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Candidates should hold an Illinois OT license (or be eligible) and have school-based experience, ASD familiarity, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Valid Occupational Therapist license for Illinois (or eligibility to obtain).
• Experience in school-based OT preferred.
• Ability to assess and support diverse student needs, including ASD.
• Understanding of educational settings and multidisciplinary teamwork.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Capacity to work independently across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based OT services to students in kindergarten through transitional ASD programs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and monitor individualized plans.
• Conduct assessments and create data-driven treatment strategies.
• Support classroom and school staff with recommendations and accommodations.
• Travel between several schools to deliver services per students' IEP schedules.
• Record and report student progress in line with school and district policies.
• Communicate effectively with families regarding student growth and needs.
