Job summary

Lockheed Martin in the United States seeks an experienced inventory and supply chain professional to assure inventory sufficiency for mission systems across their life cycle. You will manage asset positions across suppliers, repair facilities, 3PLs and customer locations under PBL and TSPR contracts, making and executing decisions on allocation and redistribution.

Manages and controls the asset position of customer inventories, especially under the conditions of performance based logistics (PBL) and total system performance responsibility (TSPR) contracts. Makes and executes decisions for operating inventory to include suppliers, repair facilities, 3PLs and customer locations, including priority interpretation, inventory allocation and asset redistribution as necessary among sources of supply and military operating locations. Responds to military service inquiries; supports requests for proposals and provisioning determinations; understands and uses various inventory optimization models; forecasts and manages budget requirements; interfaces with company and DoD information management systems; ensures fidelity of asset identification; resolves technical and support problems for assigned classes of items by actively interfacing engineering and suppliers; prepares status reports and metrics relating to supplier performance and mission readiness. Basic Qualifications

The following Basic Qualifications are skills that a candidate must possess to be considered for this position:

10 years of professional experience in the following skill sets:

• Experience with Mission Impaired Capability Awaiting Parts (MICAPS) / High-priority requisition support and component repair cycle management
• Experience supporting Performance Based Logistics (PBL) or Supply Chain Management concepts and performance requirements
• Experience with Microsoft Office application
• Experience with data analysis and metrics development

Desired Skills

The following Desired Skills are not required but are those skills that would set a candidate apart from other candidates:

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college
• Field Service Rep experience; international preferred with Import/Export customs experience
• Knowledge of the following management systems: SAP and Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS)
• Experience training and supervising a diverse workforce
• Hazmat shipping certified
• Possess excellent written and oral communication skills

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $80200.00 - $149000.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
