Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Marietta, GA seeks an Items Analyst - Level 1 to ensure inventory sufficiency across the life cycle of supported systems, managing asset positions and allocation among suppliers, 3PLs, repair facilities, and customer locations.

The role focuses on responding to military inquiries, supporting proposals, using inventory optimization models, forecasting budgets, and delivering status reports on supplier performance and mission readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Holds at least 1 year of professional experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of or experience with supply chain management, military logistics, inventory management, items management, and/or warehousing.

Responsibilities

• Ensure inventory sufficiency across the life cycle of supported systems.
• Manage and control the asset position of customer inventories across sources (suppliers, 3PLs, repair facilities, customer locations).
• Make and execute decisions for operating inventory including priority interpretation and asset redistribution.
• Respond to military service inquiries; support proposals and provisioning determinations; use inventory optimization models; forecast and manage budget requirements.
