Job summary

Lockheed Martin Space in Cape Canaveral, FL is seeking an entry level Items Analyst to join our mission. You will manage sustainment procurements, coordinate with senior internal and external staff, and produce status reports on supplier performance and obsolescence mitigation.

The role emphasizes inventory control, lifecycle asset management, and data-driven decision making within PBL/TSPR contexts for DoD programs. Strong organizational and analytical skills are required.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of Inventory Management, Logistics and Supply Chain, Finance, Contracts and Legal principles.
• Experience using Microsoft Office products – Word, Excel, and/or Access.
• Must be a United States citizen and able to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance at the Secret level.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for sustainment procurements.
• Interact with internal and external senior personnel on matters requiring coordination between organizations.
• Coordinate status reports and metrics relating to supplier performance and obsolescence mitigation.
• Work in a fast-paced team environment and work well under pressure.
• Demonstrate critical thinking / problem solving abilities.
