We are seeking a detail-oriented Item Creation Specialist to support the setup, maintenance, and accuracy of merchandise and product information within internal systems.
Schedule: This is a hybrid position requiring onsite work Monday through Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.
This role works closely with merchandising teams, vendors, and internal partners to ensure product information, attributes, and images are complete, accurate, and ready for use across multiple sales channels.

Responsibilities
- Create and maintain merchandise items within internal product and item management systems.
- Enter, review, and update product attributes, item details, images, and other merchandise information.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to obtain complete and accurate product information.
- Organize and maintain product and merchandise groupings within internal systems.
- Monitor deadlines for product attributes, images, and other required item information.
- Perform ongoing item maintenance and make updates as product information changes.
- Prioritize item setup requests based on business needs, category deadlines, and product launch timelines.
- Partner with internal teams to manage new item setup requests, workload priorities, and deadline concerns.
- Review product and purchasing information for accuracy and completeness.
- Assist vendors and internal partners with resolving item setup and product data issues.
- Learn and support new item setup technologies, systems, and processes.
- Participate in projects and process improvement initiatives related to item setup and merchandise data.

Preferred Experience
- Previous experience in retail, ecommerce, merchandising support, product or item setup, data entry, catalog support, administrative support, or a related environment.
- Experience working with product information, SKUs, item attributes, images, or other detailed data is helpful.
- Experience communicating with vendors or supporting merchandising/buying teams is a plus.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and experience learning web-based business systems.
- Retail corporate or ecommerce experience is helpful but not required.
Candidates who are organized, technology-comfortable, detail-oriented, and able to learn new systems quickly are encouraged to apply even if they have not previously held an Item Creation Specialist title.
