Job summary

Caesars Entertainment is seeking a Restaurant Operations Leader for Sapori Italian Kitchen in Lake Tahoe. You will oversee daily operations, delivering exceptional guest service, maintaining high food and beverage standards, and driving financial performance.

Lead, coach, and schedule staff while managing labor and safety, ensuring compliant, profitable restaurant operations. You will train and develop the team, supervise reservations, and participate in budgeting and capital projects.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Hotel and/or Restaurant Management or equivalent training.
• Bachelor's degree in Hotel or Restaurant Management preferred.
• 5–10 years of restaurant industry experience with at least 2 years in food preparation/service and 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Strong English literacy and written/spoken communication skills.
• Compiles, analyzes, and interprets operational and financial data.
• Collaborates with diverse departments to achieve goals.
• Translates strategic initiatives into day-to-day operations.
• Handles difficult guest situations with professionalism and tact.
• Proficient with restaurant management software systems.
• Upholds integrity and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversees day-to-day operations of the assigned restaurant in line with policies.
• Greets guests, seats tables, and ensures service is above reproach.
• Supervises reservation function and staffing scheduling.
• Directs development and administration of training programs for restaurant staff.
• Manages budgeting processes and capital project proposals.
• Maintains efficient scheduling and labor costs.
• Ensures safety policies are followed and hazards eliminated.
• Prepares periodic performance evaluations and coordinates wage actions.
