Job summary

Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria in Lake Buena Vista is seeking a full-time Cook to prepare guest orders and collaborate with the serving team. You will read and follow recipes, set up and operate kitchen equipment, and maintain clean, organized workstations to ensure high-quality Italian dishes.

Qualified applicants have 5+ years in a fast-paced Italian/Mediterranean setting, strong knife skills, and solid knowledge of food safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of food preparation experience in a high-volume Italian or Mediterranean restaurant.
• Ability to read, interpret, and execute recipes and production sheets.
• Knowledge of food safety, inventory handling, FIFO and sanitation.
• Proficiency with knife techniques (brunoise, julienne, chiffonade) and proper kitchen tools.

Responsibilities

• Follow supervisor's assignments for food production and prepare dishes per recipes.
• Set up, operate, and clean kitchen equipment; keep workstations organized and stocked.
• Work cooperatively with team members and management; adhere to opening/closing procedures.
