Position Summary
The ITA Coordinator will function as an integral part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to providing recovery-oriented, person-centered care at Recovery Place Kent Inpatient Services.
The ITA Coordinator is responsible for processing initial ITA paperwork, tracking key dates for legal processes and communicating expectations to staff and court team. They are responsible for copying and prepare documents for court and identifying communication needs between staff and court.
They will represent the Valley Cities mission, purpose, values, and beliefs in their communication with internal and external stakeholders. They will assist as needed with de-escalation and restraint of clients in the event of assaultive behavior and pass assault crisis/crisis prevention training and maintain current certification (CPI). The ITA Coordinator is expected to work effectively as a team member, participating in treatment team meetings and other client care coordination activities. Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, and/or changed at the discretion of management.
