Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP (SOM) seeks an IT Support professional to join our global design firm. You will provide Tier 1 and 2 end-user support across offices, remote staff, and projects, ensuring timely responses and high-quality service.

The role covers Windows and Mac device configuration, mobile support, and software like Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, Enscape, V-Ray, as well as Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• BS in related field or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of OT support experience; AEC industry desirable.
• Microsoft and/or CompTIA A+ certification desired.
• Experience configuring Windows and Mac iOS devices; cloud environment desirable.
• Experience configuring iOS and Android devices.
• Experience with Windows Active Directory and SCCM.
• Experience using Google Workspace, Office, and Adobe Creative Suite; collaboration platforms.
• Experience with Slack, AV systems, and web conferencing tools.
• Experience supporting architectural software such as Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, Enscape, V-Ray, Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 and 2 end user support for local/regional offices.
• Respond to service desk requests via tickets, email, Slack, etc.
• Provide on-site, off-site, and remote support; participate in weekend rotation.
• Maintain knowledge of SOM policies and products; stay current with industry best practices.
• Research effective and efficient resolutions; focus on quick problem resolution.
• Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication; assist with other tasks as required.
