Job summary

Skidmore, Owings & Merrill LLP (SOM) in Los Angeles seeks an Architect to contribute to portions of complex projects under supervision. You will develop design concepts, produce and coordinate diagrams, drawings, 3D models, renderings, and presentations, and communicate clearly with the team.

Qualifications include a professional architecture degree, a minimum of 2 years of experience, and proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, and rendering software.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture or related field.
• Minimum 2 years professional experience.
• LEED accreditation preferred.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Rhino, and rendering software.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to development of project portions with supervision by Project Leadership; exhibits initiative and problem solving.
• Produces and coordinates presentation and contract deliverables (diagrams, 3D models, drawings, renderings, physical models, animations).
• Communicates effectively in written, oral, and visual forms within the team.
• Collaborates at project level, evaluating ideas critically and constructively.
• Manages time and workload to meet deadlines, sharing knowledge with less experienced staff.
