Job summary
IDS International seeks an Information Technology Technician I to provide technical support for computer systems, network infrastructure, and enterprise IT environments. The role involves monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting across Windows and Linux servers, virtualized and cloud environments.
The ideal candidate will have an Associate degree or equivalent experience, plus an Active Secret security clearance and 1+ year in IT/networking.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent experience.
- Active Secret security clearance required.
- Minimum 1 year of experience with computer systems, IT, and networking.
- Experience with Windows and Linux server operating systems and security vulnerabilities.
- Experience with cloud, physical, and virtual network infrastructure monitoring.
- Expertise with hypervisors VMware, KVM, and Xen.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and support computer systems and network infrastructure.
- Administer Windows and Linux server operating systems.
- Monitor performance across physical, virtual, and cloud environments.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
- Support virtualization platforms and hosted environments.
- Document configurations and keep administrative records.
