Job summary

Endodontic Practice Partners (EPP) is seeking an IT Technician to support our endodontic practices across the Dallas area. You will be the frontline IT contact for onsite and remote users, handling tickets, hardware, software, and network issues in a healthcare setting.

The role requires 2+ years of hands-on IT experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and familiarity with Microsoft environments. Local travel to practice sites is a core part of the job, with a collaborative IT team and growth

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of onsite/hand-on IT experience.
  • 1+ year of remote IT support or help desk experience.
  • Strong troubleshooting across hardware, software, and basic networking.
  • Experience with Microsoft technologies (Windows, Active Directory, Office 365).
  • Familiarity with networking equipment (switches, routers, servers, firewalls).
  • Excellent communication; able to work with clinicians and staff.
  • Willingness to travel regularly to local practice locations (Dallas, TX area).
  • Healthcare, dental, or multi-site support experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as frontline IT support for onsite and remote users across multiple practice locations.
  • Monitor and manage help desk tickets, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and connectivity issues.
  • Install, configure, and support desktops, laptops, mobile devices, peripherals, and applications.
  • Support Microsoft environments including Windows 11, Active Directory/Azure, Office 365, and Windows Server.
  • Assign users and devices to appropriate groups and permissions.
  • Monitor antivirus and security solutions and resolve related issues.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of hardware, software, and licenses.
  • Perform hands-on technical work at practice locations, such as running cable and mounting equipment.
  • Partner with IT Manager and broader IT team to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Provide excellent customer service to clinicians and staff in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a hands-on IT Technician to support our endodontic practices in the greater Dallas area. This role is ideal for a customer-focused IT professional who enjoys working in the field, solving technical challenges, and supporting healthcare teams across multiple locations. Candidates must live in the Dallas- Fort Worth area, as frequent travel to local practice sites is a core part of this role.

What You’ll Do
  • Serve as frontline IT support for onsite and remote users across multiple practice locations
  • Monitor and manage help desk tickets, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and connectivity issues

  • Perform hands‑on technical work at practice locations, such as running/organizing cable, mounting equipment, and basic infrastructure installation.
  • Partner closely with the IT Manager and broader IT team to resolve issues efficiently
  • Provide excellent customer service to clinicians and staff in a fast‑paced healthcare environment
What We’re Looking For
  • High school diploma required; college degree preferred
  • 2+ years of onsite/hand‑on IT experience,
  • 1+ years of remote IT support, help desk, or technical support
  • Physical ability to perform tasks such as running cables and mounting/installing IT equipment
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and basic networking
  • Experience with Microsoft technologies (Windows, Active Directory, Office 365)
  • Familiarity with networking equipment (switches, routers, servers, firewalls)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly
  • Self‑starter who can work independently while collaborating with a remote team
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly to local practice locations (Dallas, TX area)
  • Healthcare, dental, or multi‑site support experience strongly preferred
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to climb ladders and access elevated or confined spaces (e.g., ceilings, crawlspaces) to run cable or install equipment
  • Ability to kneel, crouch, and work in tight or awkward physical spaces
  • Ability to use hand and power tools safely (e.g., drills)
Preferred (but Not Required)
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Azure, ITIL, or CCNA
  • Experience supporting multi‑location or healthcare environments
