Job summary

Innosoft Corp. seeks a Technical Writer for the South Carolina MMIS transition project. You will collaborate with Directors, Developers, Analysts and SMEs to create clear business and technical documentation, supporting materials, and visuals for various stakeholders.

Documentation will be organized in SharePoint and related repositories. The ideal candidate has 5+ years IT experience, 3+ years technical writing, strong writing/editing skills, and proficiency with the MS Office suite and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related IT experience, including developing structured written materials and visual aids.
• 3+ years of technical writing experience.
• Strong ability to write, edit, and visually present technical information for both technical and business audiences.
• 3+ years of experience with Microsoft SharePoint.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
• Experience working with templates, formatting standards, and style guidelines to maintain branding consistency.

Responsibilities

• Work with Business Analysts, SMEs, and technical teams to understand project goals and create required project deliverables and supporting documentation.
• Provide recommendations on documentation and deliverables resulting from analysis and design discussions.
• Collaborate with technical staff to translate complex technical information into clear, easy-to-understand documentation.
• Organize and develop supporting project documents as needed.
• Select and incorporate photographs, drawings, diagrams, charts, and other visual aids to improve understanding.
• Review and revise documentation as project requirements and issues change.
• Organize and maintain project documentation in SharePoint and other document repositories.
