Catholic Education Services in the Diocese of Cairns seeks an Information Technology Technical Support Officer to provide tech support to secondary colleges in the Cairns region. The role is based at Newman Catholic College Smithfield and St Monica's College Cairns, requiring patient, clear user assistance and mentorship for non-technical users.

You will handle day-to-day service desk tasks for staff and students, with AV and printer support, in a collaborative IT team environment.

Salary Range: CES Office Salary Scale Level 4 $80,318 to $90,765 FTE gross per annum

About The Role

The Information Technology (IT) Technical Support Officer role provides technology support to Secondary Colleges in the Cairns region. The position will be based at Newman Catholic College Smithfield and St Monica's College Cairns.

The role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear, patient, and professional user assistance and mentorship, particularly to non-technical users.

Responsibilities include day to day service desk support for staff and students, along with support to other equipment such as AV, printers and other collaborative technologies.
