Job Description: IT Support Specialist

What You'll Do:
  • Provide support for user operating systems, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  • Respond to help desk tickets, phone calls, emails, chat sessions, and walk-in inquiries.
  • Coordinate with IT team members and third-party vendors to address complex issues related to devices, workplace technology, and messaging software.
  • Monitor ticket queues, analyze trends, and ensure service level commitments are met.
  • Handle password resets, user lockouts, and other account issues to maximize first-call resolution.
  • Support conference rooms and training rooms with audio-visual equipment.
  • Assist with user account creation and troubleshooting in Active Directory, Exchange, Yealink Phone System, and VDI environments.
  • Manage desktop backup and security measures, including malware and virus monitoring.
  • Troubleshoot issues with desktops, laptops, phones, and mobile devices.
  • Support IT projects and process improvements.
  • Maintain performance metrics and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Engage in ongoing training to keep skills current.
Who You Are:
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Experience troubleshooting Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office 365.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, printer support, and remote connectivity troubleshooting.
  • Experience supporting conference room technology and managing IT assets.
  • Able to prioritize tasks and resolve issues efficiently.
What You'll Need:
  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience.
  • Some college coursework, associate or bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong skills in Windows OS repairs, malware removal, hardware upgrades.
  • Proficiency with Windows 10/11, Office 365, and Active Directory.
  • Customer service orientation and problem-solving skills.

The anticipated salary range for this role is $55,000 to $75,000, based on experience and location. In addition, we offer comprehensive benefits including health insurance, retirement contributions, and professional development opportunities.
