Job Description

Lorain County JVS is a Career and Technical Education Training Center. It consists of a public high school for students in grades 9-12 and the Adult Career Center which offers training and educational opportunities for adults.

This position is part-time as needed - evenings

STARTING DATE: TBD

SALARY: Commensurate with experience and education

REPORTS TO: Director of Technology

WORK WEEK/YEAR: As per Board-adopted calendar

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma and proper certifications/experience
• Ability to diagnose and repair PC hardware
• Ability to diagnose and resolve Microsoft Windows issues
• Ability to diagnose and resolve Microsoft Office issues
• Ability to troubleshoot large printers and copiers
• Knowledge of computers and networks
• Knowledge of best practices for cybersecurity and patch management
• Ability to communicate ideas and directives effectively both orally and in writing
• Ability to establish and maintain timelines and meet deadlines
• Ability to follow both written and verbal instruction efficiently
• Evidence of strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Team player – willingness to work effectively in a team environment
• Required to carry, lift, haul, push or pull assorted items as needed
• Flexibility to work various schedules in multiple locations if needed
