Lorain County JVS is a Career and Technical Education Training Center. It consists of a public high school for students grades 9-12 and an Adult Career Center which offers training and educational opportunities for adults.

Start Date: As Needed

Salary: $23.08 per hour

Reports To: HS Principal

Minimum Requirements:

• Verified five (5) years of experience in vocational classes
• Proven technology-related skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a changing environment
• Team player – willingness to work effectively in a team environment
• Desire to motivate and assist young people in setting educational, social and behavioral goals
• Ability to work with students having a wide range of abilities and skill levels
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
• Sincere interest and commitment to work with students, parents, staff, businesses, and community organizations

Desirable Qualifications:

• Verified previous teaching experience
• Strong teaching-related skills
• Ability to develop curriculum and knowledge of instructional techniques
