Job summary

Hankook Tire is seeking an IT System Technician to ensure operational excellence of the Manufacturing IT System. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing hardware and software, providing user support, and troubleshooting issues to keep systems running smoothly.

The position requires strong technical knowledge and effective communication to understand problems and explain solutions. Customer-oriented, calm under pressure, and able to handle demanding production needs are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's degree or higher preferred in computer science, information systems, or related field.
• Minimum of 1 year experience as a help desk technician, computer technician, or IT support staff.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software, including operating systems, applications, and network devices.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair hardware and software issues, resolving technical problems promptly.
• Conduct routine maintenance on computer systems and networks, including upgrades and updates to keep systems current.
• Provide technical support to users, addressing queries and assisting with IT-related challenges.
• Manage network connectivity, including LAN/WAN infrastructure and security.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, fixes, and system issues through daily reporting.
• Verify the functionality of hardware and software components through regular daily checks.
• Perform all tasks safely and in accordance with company standards and SOPs.
• Collaborate with team members across the organization.
• Regular attendance is essential.
• Continuously learn new technologies and undertake other functions as required.
• Execute additional duties as assigned by management.
