Job summary

Hankook Tire Co. in Clarksville, TN seeks an experienced Maintenance Controls Technician to monitor, improve, and provide electromechanical support for the assigned Team.

You will lead large projects related to machine modifications and program changes, and be on call for critical troubleshooting. Responsibilities cover safe operation, troubleshooting PLCs (Allen Bradley Studio 5000), VFDs, HMI, ABB drives, AGV and HVAC systems; reading prints and performing root cause analyses to drive reliable

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 4 years of maintenance experience in an industrial environment.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Strong knowledge of VFDs, HMI, and AMC; ability to read prints and troubleshoot electrical components.
• Experience with PLC and ladder logic (Allen Bradley Studio 5000); ABB drives, AGV, HVAC.
• Able to program, troubleshoot, and repair all unit equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform all work safely and according to company standards.
• Work well with others within the team and throughout the organization.
• Regular attendance is an essential function of the position.
• Provide electrical and mechanical support to technicians.
• Maintain a strong knowledge of PLCs and drives to troubleshoot issues.
• Perform Root Cause Failure Analysis investigations for critical breakdowns.
• Support continuous improvement programs including 5S.
