Job summary

Renaissance-Lakewood, LL seeks an IT Technician for a temporary 4–6 month role. You will support Tier 1 tickets, document problem solving, and assist in AV setups while maintaining hardware/software inventories. Strong diagnostics, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, with CompTIA A+ and related experience preferred.

You will also help with OS imaging, IT infrastructure planning, and ongoing research to ensure security and efficiency across the desktop environment.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven experience as IT Technician or relevant position.
• CompTIA A+ Certified, Associates degree or equivalent technical school education with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• At least 2 years of experience with Microsoft Windows Active Directory in a corporate environment.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication ability.
• Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.
• Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for Tier 1 Tickets.
• Record, track, and document the help desk request problem solving process including actions taken through to the final resolution.
• Create documentation for staff for training purposes.
• Assist in AV setups as needed for meetings.
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
• Maintain physical inventory of IT hardware and software.
• Repair and replace broken equipment.
• Ensure physical security of all equipment.
• Support desktop hardware, software, and applications.
• Perform technology needs analysis.
• Coordinate Operating System image creations based on business, reflecting IT standards.
• Implement and support the computing infrastructure plan.
• Assist with technology planning through ongoing research.

Job description

• Pay or shift range: $64,200 USD to $72,100 USD
  The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
