Job summary

TechOp Solutions in Washington, DC is seeking an IT Specialist to provide technical support, system administration, and troubleshooting to keep IT systems reliable and secure.

You will support employees, devices, software, networks, cloud platforms, and customer-facing systems, including Microsoft 365, Salesforce CRM, AWS, and Amazon Connect. A BS/BA and 5+ years in IT/Systems Administration, plus the ability to pass a government security background check, are required.

Qualifications

• BS/BA required.
• 5+ years in IT/Systems Administrator role.
• Experience with Salesforce CRM.
• Excellent communication with government stakeholders.
• Ability to pass a government security background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for computers, software, hardware, networks, and related IT systems.
• Maintain and troubleshoot laptops and peripheral equipment.
• Coordinate with Government IT on account configuration, access requests, and other administrative requests.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues for a 24/7 team.
• Support cloud-based platforms and business applications, including Microsoft 365, Salesforce CRM, Amazon Web Services, and Amazon Connect.
• Monitor system performance and recommend improvements to increase reliability, efficiency, and security.
• Communicate professionally with employees, customers, vendors, and government stakeholders.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
