Job summary

SOPHiA GENETICS in Boston is offering a paid IT internship for recent graduates or those available for 6–9 months to gain first meaningful corporate IT experience. You’ll work on the internal IT Service Desk portal in Jira Cloud, own a project, and collaborate with IT, Information Security and Network Operations teams.

You will build foundations in system administration, cloud environments, automation, asset and access management, and IT service management, with exposure to Azure, Microsoft 365,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field (recent graduate or soon to graduate).
• Available for a 6-month internship (6-9 months).
• Solid IT fundamentals with curiosity and willingness to learn.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Apple environments.
• Interest in system administration, cloud technologies and automation.
• Exposure to PowerShell, Bash/Shell or Python scripting.

Responsibilities

• Redesign, optimize and automate the internal IT Service Desk portal in Jira Cloud.
• Contribute to day-to-day IT operations and solve real problems.
• Work with IT, Information Security and Network Operations teams.
• Gain exposure to Azure Cloud environments and IT asset management.
• Build dashboards and turn operational data into insights.
