Job summary

Headquarters, Air Force Reserve Command is seeking an Information Technology Specialist (CUSTSPT) to serve as the unit's day-to-day IT focal point for systems administration, network operation and maintenance, and IT security and system accreditation.

The ART will manage the unit's systems, ensure network performance, analyze reliability, and contribute to system documentation. Telework is eligible; travel and security clearance are required.

Responsibilities

• Serves as unit systems administrator and provides technical assistance regarding hardware, operating systems, and applications software.
• Manages the network connectivity and infrastructure provided by the host base to the tenant unit; maintains software and subsystem performance.
• Assures IT security and system accreditation; analyzes performance reports and prepares documentation.
• Supervises a small IT workforce and represents the unit in studies, reports, and system documentation.
