Job summary

Stukent is seeking an IT Systems Manager to own daily reliability of IT systems and drive planning to mature processes. The role blends hands-on troubleshooting with independent project planning, scoping, and execution, in close coordination with our security team to strengthen overall posture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of IT support or systems administration experience, including project ownership
• Strong working knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems
• Experience administering Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs and networking
• Ability to plan and execute IT projects independently from scoping to completion
• Ability to evaluate technical options and align with business needs
• Strong communication skills with leadership and cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior IT support contact, handling escalations requiring analysis and judgment
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues
• Install, configure, maintain, and repair desktops, laptops, peripherals, and software
• Manage user accounts, devices, and access during onboarding/offboarding
• Keep OS and apps up-to-date with security patches and remediation priorities
• Collaborate with security for endpoint protection and access controls
• Build and maintain a rolling IT roadmap with projects and upgrades
• Plan and execute IT projects from start to finish (tooling, upgrades, process improvements)
• Evaluate tools and vendors for cost, functionality, security, and fit
• Maintain internal docs, knowledge base, and IT metrics
• Occasional support outside standard hours for critical issues
