Job summary

Bossier-Federal-Credit-Union is seeking an IT professional to support the credit union’s technology infrastructure, including networks, servers, and workstations. You will install hardware/software, resolve end-user issues, and help maintain security and disaster recovery plans.

Requirements include at least a high school diploma and 1 year of IT experience, with an Associate degree preferred. This role reports to the VP of Information Technology and requires on-site work in Louisiana.

Qualifications

• One year IT experience required; two or more years preferred.
• Knowledge of networks, servers, PCs, and security practices.
• Ability to install/configure hardware and software and support end users.

Responsibilities

• Supports LAN/WAN hardware and software to keep systems operational.
• Performs backups and disaster recovery procedures to protect data.
• Researches IT problems, troubleshoots, and tests solutions.
• Provides user support via phone, in person, or online.
• Maintains system documentation and warranties for equipment.
• Assists with daily IT processing duties and maintains professional relations.
