Job summary

Crane Company is seeking a System Administrator / Network & Help Desk Engineer to maintain and optimize our IT infrastructure. You will support Nutanix HCI workloads, backups, and disaster recovery while delivering Tier 2/3 assistance to users.

The role covers SCCM deployments, patching, OS deployments, and network management across LAN/WAN, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
• 3–6+ years of system administration, networking or IT support.
• On-site daily with after-hours support when needed.
• Strong knowledge of Nutanix HCI, Veeam, SCCM/MECM, and Windows Server.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure, including servers, virtualization, and storage.
• Manage Nutanix HCI environments and ensure high availability.
• Perform patching, upgrades, backups, DR procedures and testing.
• Provide Tier 2/3 end-user support for incidents and service requests.
• Configure and monitor network devices, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, VPNs and security controls.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
