Job summary

Sagepoint Energy is seeking an IT Systems Specialist to serve as the primary IT Help Desk contact and to support secure network infrastructure across production facilities, pipelines, cloud environments, and corporate locations. Based in Carmel, IN, you will handle onboarding/offboarding, administer Microsoft 365 and Entra ID, and work with Sr.

IT Systems Specialist on network security and OT/IT integration.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field is required.
3+ years of professional IT/networking experience, preferably in energy/industrial sector.
Experience with routing, switching, VLAN design, VPNs, and wireless networks.
Familiarity with SCADA OT/IT segmentation and cybersecurity best practices.
Knowledge of cloud networking (Azure/Meraki) required.

Responsibilities

Serve as primary IT Help Desk contact via phone, email, and Zoho Desk; handle Level 1–2 issues and escalate Level 3–4 as needed.
Triage, prioritize, and track tickets to ensure timely resolution within target response times.
Provide hands-on and remote support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals.
Manage onboarding/offboarding, user accounts, hardware, and software provisioning.
Administer Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and MDM accounts and devices.
Configure VLANs, LAN/WAN, VPN, and wireless solutions across facilities.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless infra.
Assist with OT/IT integration, security best practices, backups, patching, and DR docs.
Travel to facilities as needed; provide after-hours/on-call support.
Coordinate with IT, Automation, plant engineering, and vendors for site expansions.
