Job summary

GrayMatter Robotics in Los Angeles is seeking an IT Systems Engineer responsible for managing internal IT infrastructure and supporting customer sites. This role requires 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience, strong Linux and networking knowledge, and a proactive approach to troubleshooting various IT issues.

As the go-to for IT across the organization, you will manage PC fleet configurations, resolve production-related downtime, and improve internal workflows for IT requests. The position includes opportunities for onsite work in Carson, CA, and travel to customer sites.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in IT systems administration.
• Strong knowledge of Linux, networking, and scripting.
• Ability to troubleshoot independently and communicate blockers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary IT escalation point reducing reliance on DevOps.
• Own PC fleet management including provisioning and configuration.
• Troubleshoot and resolve GPU driver issues causing production downtime.
• Support internal IT requests from all teams, managing access and provisioning.
• Assist with government enclave maintenance and compliance logging.
• Own IT intake process with a clear ticketing workflow.
