Job summary

Spectra Defense Technologies is seeking an IT Support Engineer to manage a wide range of technical responsibilities, support daily IT operations, and work with our MSP to ensure reliable service delivery. You will handle help desk requests, administer Microsoft 365 and Azure AD, troubleshoot networks, provision VMs, and contribute to IT projects in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of hands-on IT support experience
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure AD administration
• Solid networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, Wi‑Fi)
• Experience working with an MSP or outsourced IT provider
• Excellent communication and user-focused support

Responsibilities

• Handle help desk requests from intake to resolution with timely support
• Coordinate with MSP for specialized tasks and escalations
• Manage Microsoft 365: provisioning, licenses, Exchange Online, SharePoint/OneDrive, Teams
• Troubleshoot networking, VPNs, DNS/DHCP, and routing basics
• Provision and monitor virtual machines; assist environment improvements
• Document procedures and support workflows clearly
• Collaborate with internal teams and MSP for smooth service delivery
• Assist IT projects like migrations and upgrades
• Monitor endpoints and IT health; identify recurring issues
