Qualifications

• 5+ years of Systems Engineer experience in medium-high volume environments.
• Experience designing and managing Nutanix and VMware hypervisors.
• Experience deploying and automating VMs on‑prem and cloud.
• Experience managing LAN, WAN, WLAN and virtual networks in Azure/Nutanix.
• Advanced knowledge of cloud and on‑prem compute, storage and backups.
• Strong documentation and ability to lead projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, patch and manage data center and cloud technologies (Azure, Nutanix, VMware).
• Design and manage networking (LAN/WAN/Wireless/Internet/virtual networks).
• Ensure uptime of critical systems and remediation of infrastructure issues.
• Implement and manage security appliances and information security services.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and recommendations for improvements.
• Protect data assets and ensure backups meet policies.
• Provide DR design and support for key systems.
• Lead projects and assist other IT teams.
• Identify issues, trends, and anticipate requirements.
• Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and similar regulations.
• Design and support monitoring, alerting and automation for critical systems.
• Manage user identity in Azure Active Directory, including group policies.
• Handle User Endpoint management and software deployment.
• Deliver strategic plans for implementing infrastructure technologies.
• Maintain knowledge through ongoing education and professional networks.
• Provide training and documentation to team members.
