Job summary

ABEC is seeking an IT Systems Engineer to advance our global technology infrastructure and drive enterprise-wide initiatives, cloud adoption, cybersecurity, networking, and digital transformation. This role goes beyond routine system administration to deliver measurable impact across our Microsoft stack and IT operations.

You will design, implement, and optimize infrastructure, support Azure, M365, Entra ID, and related tools, and mentor IT staff while ensuring business continuity and robust

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive IT infrastructure or systems engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience and certifications.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft cloud and enterprise technologies.
• Advanced networking knowledge including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, routing, switching, and firewalls.
• Experience with servers, virtualization, storage, backups, endpoint management, and cybersecurity.
• Certifications: Azure Administrator, Microsoft 365 Administrator, Endpoint Administrator, CCNA, Network+, Security+, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Lead infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and technology improvement initiatives.
• Serve as the escalation point for complex technical issues and mentor IT support staff.
• Help strengthen cybersecurity, compliance, endpoint management, disaster recovery, and business continuity programs.

• Proven troubleshooting, project execution, and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience and certifications.
• Preferred Certifications: Azure Administrator, Microsoft 365 Administrator, Endpoint Administrator, CCNA, Network+, Security+, or similar.
