Job summary

Olympic College seeks an IT System Administrator to manage Windows and Linux servers, virtual machines, and storage, ensuring robust backups and security. You will work with Infrastructure leadership to optimize performance and implement disaster recovery plans across on-site environments.

Responsibilities include configuring Intune/SCCM-based endpoint management, administering Exchange/Office 365, and assisting staff with training on infrastructure tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Exchange, and AWS/VEEAM backup solutions.
• Experience managing endpoint devices via Intune and SCCM.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and disaster recovery planning.
• Strong communication and cross-team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, configure, implement, and maintain Windows/Linux servers.
• Install/modify virtual machines and manage Hypervisor settings.
• Maintain backups and disaster recovery strategies; monitor cybersecurity.
