Job summary

Chenega Services & Federal Solutions, a Chenega Professional Services’ company, seeks an IT Systems Administrator to support the Department of the Navy's COMOPTEVFOR network infrastructure. You will install, configure, test, and provide technical support to the Enterprise Architecture Team.

The role requires Active Secret clearance, 3+ years Windows Server experience, VMware vSphere, Commvault backups, and DCWF-aligned cybersecurity qualifications.

Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance.
• Associate degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
• DoD cyberspace workforce qualifications per DCWF/DoD 8140.03.
• MCSA Windows Server 2016 or Hybrid Administrator cert.
• CompTIA Cloud+ or GIAC/GSEC/SSCP certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily technical support and troubleshooting for Windows servers (virtual and physical).
• Configure and manage Active Directory for OPTEVFOR networks.
• Maintain VMware ESXi infrastructure and administer virtual servers.
• Manage backup infrastructure with Commvault and restore operations.
• Configure SolarWinds monitoring, thresholds, and alerts; prepare weekly status reports.
• Review STIGs and implement mitigations; perform quarterly STIG checklists.
• Assist with vulnerability management and system hardening.
