Job summary

City of Farmington is seeking an IT Systems Administrator for Public Works to manage enterprise systems such as Naviline, Lucity/EAM, Cognos, and Historian. The role involves coordinating applications, supporting upgrades, and ensuring cybersecurity across City systems.

Work at City Hall in a full-time schedule with standard business hours. The ideal candidate has a degree in IT/CS and at least three years of experience with Windows-based environments, SQL/DB2 programming, and report writing.

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university in IT/CS or related field preferred.
Three years' experience with client-based operating systems, databases, and programming.
Ability to troubleshoot hardware/software and maintain Windows environments.

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day advanced production and operations support for Public Works enterprise systems.
Monitor critical applications and resolve security/operational issues.
Coordinate app/infrastructure projects, track activities, and communicate with stakeholders.
Develop and maintain documentation on architecture, interfaces, testing, and processes.
Provide 24x7 on-call support for critical system issues.
Assist with security measures to protect City systems and data.
