Albuquerque Housing Authority is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to maintain and optimize our technology infrastructure across multiple locations in Albuquerque. You will manage servers, networks, cloud services, including Microsoft 365 and Azure AD, and provide expert Tier 2/3 support to staff.

The role requires five years in IT administration, relevant certifications, and strong collaboration with vendors and management to align technology with agency needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in systems/network administration.
• Microsoft Azure and M365 certifications; CompTIA Network+/Security+ or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Administers servers, network infrastructure, cloud services, and related tech systems.
• Provides Tier 2/3 support and resolves complex hardware, software, and network issues.
• Coordinates with third‑party vendors for cybersecurity and specialized services.
• Supports backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
• Maintains system documentation, configurations, inventories, and procedures.
• Monitors system performance and ensures reliable operations across locations.
