Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a System Administrator to oversee the IT infrastructure, ensuring security, performance, and reliability across the organization. You will manage FortiGate firewalls, Windows Server, AD, virtualization, and cloud services, while supporting HIPAA compliance and incident response.

You will collaborate with IT leadership, help desk, and vendors to deliver secure, scalable systems and robust backup and recovery plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS or related field.
• 3–5 years of systems or network administration experience.
• FortiGate firewalls and VPN setup experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer IT infrastructure, ensuring security, availability, and performance.
• Configure and monitor FortiGate firewalls, switches, and wireless networks.
• Manage Windows Server environments (2016+), AD, DNS, DHCP, and GPOs.
• Oversee virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and backup/DR processes.
• Administer Microsoft 365 and Entra ID, manage SCCM/Intune deployments.
• Coordinate with help desk and vendors; maintain documentation and compliance.
