Job summary

Houston Food Bank is seeking a Systems Administrator to manage day-to-day IT operations, support, and infrastructure optimization. The role includes endpoint provisioning, identity management, AV services, and collaboration tools, with a focus on reliability and user-friendly IT experiences.

The ideal candidate will possess strong experience with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and endpoint management, along with excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years of experience supporting users in an enterprise environment.
• Experience with Active Directory (hybrid environments preferred).
• Experience with Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
• Familiarity with RBAC, SSO, MFA, and ITIL/SLA concepts.
• Experience with Windows desktop operating systems and Microsoft Cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 IT support for end users.
• Manage user accounts, access rights, and security controls in AD/Azure AD.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 services and endpoint management solutions.
• Provisions and configures endpoint devices; handles onboarding/offboarding processes.
• Support AV/conference room systems and collaboration technologies.
• Maintain documentation and participate in IT infrastructure improvements.
