Job summary

Lehi Valley Trading Company seeks an IT Systems Administrator to ensure reliable operation of our IT infrastructure in Mesa, AZ. You will install, configure, maintain servers, networks, and applications across Windows, Linux, and macOS platforms.

Responsibilities include Active Directory, GPO, DHCP/DNS management, security enforcement, backups, virtualization, scripting for automation, and providing technical support. On‑call rotation is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer, Information Sciences, or MIS.
• 8–10 years in information systems with hands‑on experience across IT infrastructure.
• Strong hardware and software knowledge across servers, endpoints, and networks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven expertise in Windows Server environments, Linux distributions, and virtualization.
• Hands‑on cloud platform experience.
• Solid networking knowledge (TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs) and cybersecurity best practices.
• Automation scripting experience (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
• Experience with patch management and ITSM frameworks (ITIL/ServiceNow).
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex issues and document solutions.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain servers, network devices, storage systems, and endpoints across Windows, Linux, and macOS.
• Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS, and related services.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot to prevent downtime.
• Enforce IT security measures including firewalls, AV, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
• Conduct backups, DR drills, and data integrity testing.
• Deploy and optimize virtualized environments.
• Create and maintain automation scripts for routine tasks.
• Plan and pilot new technologies and upgrades.
• Document technical procedures and IT policies.
• Provide technical support and mentorship to IT staff and end‑users.
• Manage vendor relationships, hardware warranties, and software licensing.
• Oversee Office 365, Sage 100, and Custom Shop Floor implementations.
• Create and maintain IT SOPs and onboarding/offboarding processes.
• Participate in on‑call rotation for after‑hours support.
• Assist in onboarding/offboarding and policy configuration changes.
