About IOS

Integrated Openings Solutions, LLC (“IOS”) is a commercial and architectural openings solutions company. We provide industry‑leading commercial doors and hardware products and services to help make buildings smart, aesthetically pleasing, code compliant, and sustainable.

Job Summary

We are building our internal IT team and are hiring for two IT Systems Administrator roles. Both roles start from the same core foundation - hands‑on Microsoft 365, cloud, and end‑user support - and each will grow into a specialized track over the first 12–24 months, based on the strengths and interests we identify through the hiring process and your first months on the team:

  • Track A — Cloud Infrastructure & Security: owning the security, reliability, and scalability of our Azure/M365 platform.
  • Track B — Business Systems & Automation: building the tools, automations, and data/AI capabilities that help our teams work smarter.

You don't need to already be an expert in your track's advanced skills to apply. We're looking for people with a solid IT foundation and clear curiosity or early experience pointing toward one of these two directions.

Duties & Responsibilities

Foundation (Year One — shared by both roles)

  • Act as a front‑line point of contact between IOS users and our MSP, triaging tickets and ensuring SLAs are met.
  • Support and administer Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, and endpoint devices across company locations.
  • Provide hands‑on user support: hardware, software, onboarding/offboarding, and basic Azure administration.
  • Maintain IT asset records — hardware inventory, software licenses, and lifecycle tracking.
  • Support LAN/WAN/VPN connectivity and elevate/troubleshoot network issues in coordination with the MSP.
  • Document processes and contribute to IT knowledge resources and training materials.
Own the Platform & Protect the Business
  • Grow into administration of Azure compute, storage, and network resources, and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).
  • Take increasing ownership of Conditional Access, MFA, and Microsoft Defender/Sentinel monitoring.
  • Build toward owning backup, disaster recovery readiness, and vulnerability management processes.
  • Develop automation skills (PowerShell, Microsoft Graph) to streamline recurring infrastructure tasks.
  • Partner with the MSP to progressively take over network security and firewall configuration.
Growth Track B — Business Systems & Automation

Enable People, Automate Work

  • Grow into building solutions with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Copilot Studio).
  • Take increasing ownership of SharePoint, Teams, and Forms as business workflow tools.
  • Develop skills in API integrations and low‑code development to connect business systems.
  • Build toward supporting SQL, Power BI, and Fabric‑based reporting for the business.
  • Support AI and Copilot enablement efforts, and contribute to process analysis and re‑engineering initiatives.
Both Tracks
  • Contribute to IT projects: scoping, delegating with the MSP/vendors, and tracking delivery.
  • Identify recurring pain points and propose process or automation improvements.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and contractors as needed for procurement and support.
Education & Experience
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science, or equivalent hands‑on experience.
  • 2–4 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or a related role.
  • In-progress or completed certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365 Fundamentals, Azure Fundamentals, Power Platform Fundamentals, CompTIA A+/Network+) are a strong plus — you don't need to already hold advanced certifications.
Required Technical Skills (Foundation)
  • Windows administration and endpoint troubleshooting.
  • General networking fundamentals (VPN, firewall concepts).
  • Comfort learning new ticketing and remote‑support tools.
Growth Areas — Track A: Cloud Infrastructure & Security

Any exposure to the following is a plus and will shape our conversation about track fit; deep expertise is not required at hire:

  • Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, or general security monitoring
  • Backup, disaster recovery, or vulnerability management concepts
  • PowerShell scripting or Microsoft Graph
Growth Areas — Track B: Business Systems & Automation

Any exposure to the following is a plus and will shape our conversation about track fit; deep expertise is not required at hire:

  • Power Automate, Power Apps, or Copilot Studio
  • SharePoint site/list administration
  • SQL, Power BI, or basic data reporting
  • API integrations, low‑code development, or AI/Copilot tools
Preferred Qualifications (Both Tracks)
  • Strong customer service, communication, and relationship‑building skills.
  • Demonstrated curiosity and a track record of teaching yourself new tools.
  • Ability to document processes clearly and work independently.
  • Experience supporting a multi‑site or distributed organization.
  • Bilingual is a plus.

  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
