Job summary

Creare's IT department seeks an experienced IT professional to support a high-tech engineering environment. You will administer Windows Active Directory, virtualization/storage infra, and Microsoft 365, while leading IT projects and upgrading infrastructure.

The role includes PC tech support, network setup, conference room support, and collaborative partnerships with management on planning and new technology implementation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
• Experience with Windows Active Directory administration, virtualization and storage infrastructure, and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Preferred: cloud-based phone systems, cloud computing, patch administration, vulnerability remediation, training staff on IT topics, mobile device management, SharePoint administration, and Exchange Online administration.

Job Responsibilities

Join Creare's busy IT department to support a high-tech engineering environment. Duties will include system administration and troubleshooting, leading IT projects, and maintaining and upgrading IT infrastructure; PC technical support (hardware and software installations, workstation setup, network hookup, PC and peripheral repairs, conference room support, troubleshooting); as well as support to management (needs assessment/planning and new technology implementation); and more.

Professional Requirements

10+ years of experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience) is required. Specific experience must include administration of Windows Active Directory, virtualization and storage infrastructure, and Microsoft 365 administration. Preferred but not required: experience with cloud-based phone systems, cloud computing, patch administration, vulnerability remediation, training staff on IT-related topics, mobile device management, SharePoint administration, and Exchange Online administration. Excellent communication skills coupled with effective technical and work-prioritization skills are a must. An individual with strong organizational skills who is able to lead special projects and deliver timely results is preferred.

The starting salary range for this position is $75,000-$85,000 and is based on level of education completed and years of relevant work experience.
