Job summary

The State of Nevada is seeking an IT Professional 3 to join the Office of Information Technology. The role supports statewide systems and the myAvatar EHR suite, including eOE, eMAR, QS1/SharpRx, LIS/Orchard, and RxConnect.

Responsibilities include creating complex reports and widgets with Crystal Reports, SQL, and BI tools, while collaborating with PBH, Netsmart, and end users across northern and southern Nevada. This is a supervisory‑level position within the IT Operations team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or closely related field with 3 years IT experience, or equivalent.
• Experience with report/query programming (Crystal Reports) and BI tools.
• Knowledge of operating systems, networks, databases, and security practices.
• Ability to analyze end-user requirements and document technical needs.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, develop, implement, and maintain systems, databases, and applications for statewide use.
• Collaborate with end users, stakeholders, and vendors to plan long-range IT solutions.
• Administer, enhance, and maintain the closed loop EHR system and related applications.
• Provide documentation, testing, and training support for IT deployments.
