Job summary

iVenture Solutions, Inc. in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an IT System Administrator to support Windows server and network technologies, including on-premise and cloud environments. You will provide Tier 3 escalation and manage a mix of desktops and server applications.

Key responsibilities include Active Directory, Exchange, O365 and Azure, network/firewall administration, and documenting procedures. A 5+ year background and MCSE/MCITP are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree, business related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years supporting Windows Server and client/server apps in Windows network.
• Microsoft Windows Server (latest OS) and Exchange Server
• Experience with O365 ecosystem
• Azure ecosystem
• Active Directory, Group Policy
• All current Microsoft Desktop OS
• XenApp/RDS or other VDI technologies
• LAN/WAN tech and firewalls (Cisco, Meraki, Fortinet, Aruba)
• MCSE or MCITP
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Excellent customer service
• Valid driver's license and insurance with reliable transportation
• Flexible for after-hours and on-call rotation

Responsibilities

• Support Microsoft Windows server and network technologies
• Management and troubleshooting of on premise and cloud environments
• Maintain network configurations and resolve performance issues (bandwidth/ISP/firewall)
• Monitor Windows server and applications; identify root cause and resolve
• Provide Tier 3 desktop and application support
• Produce and maintain technical and training documentation
• Organize and execute desktop projects (1 day to 2 weeks)
• Typical Week: 30% Windows, 50% escalated desktop/app, 10% network, 5% training, 5% admin
