Administrator 2 in Anchorage/Juneau!

Supervise and mentor Site Support staff (Systems Administrators I), providing technical guidance, workload coordination, and performance support to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.
Oversee site-level server, Active Directory, GPO, networking, and workstation support activities, ensuring adherence to standards and validating the quality of work performed by the team.
Plan, assign, and manage site support projects—including server upgrades, GPO deployments, network improvements, and operational initiatives—while monitoring progress and removing obstacles.
Provide advanced troubleshooting for escalated issues across file/print services, Active Directory, GPOs, WAN/Ethernet/Wi-Fi networks, and entry-level datacenter components, guiding staff through resolution.
Coordinate with management and cross-functional teams to improve processes, develop documentation, and ensure alignment between site operations, datacenter standards, and organizational goals.

This is an in-office position located in either midtown Anchorage at the Frontier Building or downtown Juneau at the Court Plaza Building. Both locations are within close distance of various restaurants, coffee shops, and stores. This team is a diverse, highly technical, and collaborative group which embraces, implements, and supports the latest technologies to provide the best operational capabilities and resources to the DFCS.
